Sasquatch Sam has chosen the city for The First Ever Bigfoot Drop NYE Celebration! Due to delays finding the location, the celebration will now debut NYE December 31, 2027 for the 2028 Celebration.
The Bigfoot Drop NYE Celebration
Hold on to your hats, folks — there’s a new legend rolling into town this New Year’s Eve! The Bigfoot Drop NYE Celebration is set to make history as the first-ever Bigfoot-themed New Year’s Eve Drop in the nation, coming to one lucky city in West Georgia or East Alabama. The mystery of where this epic event will land will be revealed the Spring or 2027 with big-time planning and preparations kicking off in early summer to welcome Sasquatch Sam, the world’s most famous (and festive) Bigfoot, as he counts down to 2028!
Think of it as a jumbo-sized dose of Southern charm mixed with national fanfare — live music, food trucks galore, dazzling lights, and one legendary midnight spectacle. When the clock strikes twelve, Sasquatch Sam will take the drop, officially ringing in the New Year with a roar, a cheer, and maybe a hairy dance or two!
The host city can expect not just a celebration, but a weekend-long event filled with small-town pride, visitors from near and far, and the kind of media buzz that only a giant Bigfoot can bring. Local businesses, civic groups, and community organizations will all have a chance to get involved in what promises to become a signature celebration for the entire region.
Stay tuned this Spring to see which lucky city Sasquatch Sam will call home for the big night — and get ready to Ring In 2028 with the biggest (and furriest) celebrity!
